2 Silos include 2 single beds in each  which can be pushed together to make a Queen bed and 1 small child mattress in each room - 2 Cow Sheds include 2 single beds  & 1 trundle in each room - 2 Machinery sheds include 3 bunks and can accommodate up to 6 people each room - 1 stable includes 6 bunks and 2 trundles and can accommodate up to 14 people - 1 Grainstore includes 1 Queen bed and 2 bunks and can accommodate up to 6 people each room    The Shearing Shed is a function room and a camp kitchen perfect for all social occasions, including parties, wedding and kicking back with family and friends.

Powered sites are offered at a low cost and free camping is encouraged around the Lake perimeter.

 Hopetoun feel it is important to note that the above descriptions of buildings available for accommodation at the Mallee Bush Retreat are symbolic names of new buildings that have been built in a farm theme, so rest assured they are modern, basic and clean. Floors are wooden or concrete, there is airconditioning and many people consider it a novelty to tell their friends they have slept in a farm silo, or a cow shed, in fact they are proper rooms. The most common comment is that people enjoy the very close  access to the Lake and others enjoy having family get togethers at this no fuss camp site, including weddings as can be seen opposite.
